Step 1
Welcome to the introduction tutorial. This tutorial will show you all the basics steps of the game. During all the tutorial steps a simplified user interface of the game will be used. The right panel of this user interface shows the general information about the game.

Mode: shows whether you are in hire, move or attack mode. In every turn you can only be in one single mode.
Timeframe: indicates how long each turn will last before a new update will occur.
Current: shows how much % of the current turn has been completed.
Last update: date when the last update occurred.
Next update: date when the next update will occur (last update + timeframe).
Timelimit: date when the game will end. This will avoid the risk of games that will go on forever.
Opponent: indicates whether your opponent has already completed all of his actions for this turn.
Ready button: if you have completed all your actions for this turn you can signal your opponent that you are ready. When both players do this, the current turn will end, an update will occur and the next turn begins.

Lets start with the first basic action: hiring. Click on the map on location 3-0. This location is yours, indicated by the green dashed border. Once you have clicked on the location the middle panel shows detailed information about that particular location. The panel shows how much gold is at that location, the units that are located there and the units that can be hired at that location.
There is just enough gold to hire one Bas Bladen unit. Fill in 1 (or more, the system will always find out how many units you can hire) in the box and click the hire button. A message will indicate how many units have been hired and in how many turns you can expect them on the battlefield. Also the game mode in the right panel has been change to "hire".

Once you are done with one tutorial step you can always click the ready button to advance to the next step.
